Why We Collect Your Information
We collect your information to prepare for an insurance plan review, to complete the application process online, to contact you during the application process, and to make special offers to you related to insurance products and services.
How We Use Your Information
Your Choice: We may use information you provide on this website to provide insurance information to you, and we may provide the information to third parties whom we consider to be trustworthy with the intent that they provide insurance information to you. Both we, and the third parties, may use this information for the purpose of offering additional products and services to you. If you do not wish to receive offers for additional products or services, you should not provide personal information or contact information through this site. Also, if you do provide personal information or contact information, you may review the Opt-Out Instructions section below, which provides you with an opportunity to opt out of receiving special offers from Final Medicare Quote (but not our trusted partners).
Insurance Quote Form: Our site features a brief form you complete to view rates from various insurance companies. If you provide contact information such as your email or phone number, we view this as your express invitation that we contact you about insurance even if you are on the state or federal “Do Not Call” list.
Insurance Application Request Form: Our insurance application request form allows you to request an application online for insurance coverage. This form collects additional contact, medical and lifestyle information that is required whenever you buy life insurance. When you buy a policy through Get Yourself Protected, we act as the agent for the insurance company to which the application is sent. We provide customer information which you provide to us, to the insurance company, as it may be required to process the application and service the policy, and we may use such information to offer other products or services to you, our customers.
How insurance companies use your information: Eventually, we'll submit all information we gather during the application process to the insurance company you selected. Insurance companies use personally identifiable information to determine your final insurance eligibility and rates. Insurance underwriting criteria may vary for each participating insurance company, and each company may place different emphasis on different information on your application.
Cookies: A cookie is a small text file saved on your computer's hard drive and stored in memory while your browser is running. Cookies make it easier for a user to navigate the Web, and to complete transactions over the Internet. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Final Medicare Quote may contract with certain partners that utilize ad-serving technology. To gauge the effectiveness of advertisements, a campaign number is assigned to the vendor for which you came to visit our site. This will remain on your URL when you return to our site.
Sale of Assets of Final Medicare Quote: If in the future, Final Medicare Quote, or substantially all of its assets are acquired, the information we collect through this website from you or other customers, will likely be transferred to the acquiring party. Except for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required or permitted by law, we do not disclose customer information to others with the exception of personal information to its parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates, for marketing and/or administrative purposes.
